Start with one activity
Use a fictional family: Sam and Lina are siblings; Jo and Alex are their parents. Jo’s sister Kim has a child called Noa, and Pat is Jo’s father. Describe each connection to Sam.
Answers and guidance for parents
Lina: sœur; Jo: parent; Kim: tante; Noa: cousin; Pat: grand-père. Read one sentence at a time. Children can practise with invented characters without sharing their own family details.
