Words to try

Monday to Sunday; January to December; before, after

An activity to start here

Put the seven days in order starting with Monday. Fill the missing months, answer two before-or-after questions, then try “On Saturday, I will…” with a pretend plan.

Make it easier or take it further

A calendar is welcome. Start with days only if all twelve months feel like too much. Ask your child to give you a question when they are ready to swap roles.
